Comfort Foods Series

This series of digitally painted fruit relates to my relationship with three influential women in my life. Each summer, I spent equal time between their three houses, and each of them had a fruit tree in the backyard: my mother had a plum tree, my grandmother oranges & lemons, and my great-aunt had figs. A mark of summer was sharing these fruits together. These three women played their role in raising me and this series is in tribute to them.
